If you want inside information from people who know, come to Insiders Africa. We aren't travel agents sitting in an office somewhere: we live in Africa, and only work with the best.

For this reason, we don't offer everything in East Africa just for the sake of it. The guides, people and places we choose to work with, and the trips that we plan, have the most expert guides in their field, going at the best times of year. We don't follow the crowd.

The courses we have are made by us, are exclusive to Insiders Africa, and will show you entirely new sides to the countries we love.

Insiders Africa is owned and run by Alex Hunter, a third-generation Kenyan, brought up in both Kenya and Tanzania. Alex has guided in East Africa for over thirty years, seeking out the most interesting wilderness areas. His namesake and grandfather was the record-holding commercial game hunter and well-known author J.A. Hunter. Alex also runs his safari company, Alex Hunter Safaris, out of his home on Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
